Goal of the practical class
The goal of the practical class is to hold British parliamentary debate.
Preparation
This practical class deals with the topic announced in the previous classes. Prior to the class attendance, the students should study the announced topic and the theoretical background of the class.
Important
British parliamentary debate appears in several versions, and the type presented here is prepared according to the materials owned by Croatian Academic Debate League, available here (in Croatian).
Delivery method
Two sides take part in British parliamentary debate: government and opposition. The government consists of two teams – the first government and the second government, just as the opposition consists of the first and the second opposition. All the teams compete mutually but those which are on the same side cannot fight each other.
